Commercials.
Early Summer of '09 we were approached to produce some commercials. Originally we weren't sold on the idea but quickly realized we needed to become as diverse as possible in the media production if we were to forge ahead. The true DarkRider Studios idea of being a well rounded media and marketing company started to take shape and we decided on a direction.

The first commercials we produced were for Fear Fair Haunted Attraction and we are very happy with the results. You can view them on the right.

Keep in mind that "commercials" have many more uses than just being on television. You can produce a commercial to compliment and add to your web site, distribute information in your waiting room, on site promotions, viral video, and shown on your social networking pages. They are a great way to quickly get across important information to your target audience. Research shows that users are much more likely to view a video than read pages of text. For example Fear Fair Haunted Attraction played their commercial throughout their queue line for entertainment.

We are currently in talks with multiple businesses and will be shooting more commercials through the end of '09 and into '10. Contact us today to get your idea into production!

Short Films.
Short films come in a variety of types. You can use a short film for informational purposes (similar to a long commercial or infomercial if you will), to show off a script idea you may want funding for, to put a great short story onto film, or whatever you can think of.

The owner of Fear Fair Haunted Attraction wanted to shoot his short film for advertising, for marketing and to show some of his fantastic set design in his haunt. The short played on his web site, it played on Comcast Video on Demand, throughout his haunted attraction and was an attraction in their theater room where visitors often bottleneck due to the transition in sections. He made great use of his short and the short even won an award.

Feature Length Films.
Have an idea for a film? Write a screen play you want to put into production? Need a crew to help make your dream a reality?

Currently we undertook the project of producing our own feature length film called Lethal Obsession. We did it for a few reasons. First, we wanted to produce a movie from start to finish to show that we could do it. Second, we wanted the experience of production. Lastly, we thought it would be a great way to earn interest in DarkRider.

The filming of Lethal Obsession wrapped about mid/late September and is currently in post-production. We expect the release to be toward the end of '09. Lethal Obsession was a large undertaking from the start. We did not go small, we had the go big or go home mentality. Being our first feature length film and having a cast of 30+ actors (not extras) was a lot to handle but all in all the experience we gained was priceless.

No job is too big or too small, so please do not hesitate to come to us with your ideas.

Music Videos.
Want to put your band on the map? Like to impress by sending a copy of your video along with your CD? Like to have a video for promotion at your next gig? DarkRider Can do it.

We shot the videos to the right at Jake's Nightclub in Bloomington, Indiana for LoveSick Radio. We are currently producing a feature music video for LoveSick Radio. They are a fantastic up and coming Indie band. We look for big things from them!

Photography.
From modeling portfolio to catalog photos of your products, we can shoot it. DarkRider is prepared for on-location shoots (both indoors and outdoors) to stage or set shoots. We can also build sets to your specs to showcase what it is you may be interested in shooting.

All of the photos to your right were shot at our studios by our crew. They are but a sampling of what we have shot over the years. Many of the photos shows were taken specifically for our web site wickedpinup. Please note, wicked pinup is a non nude site and shows nothing more than you would see at the beach. :)
